At present, most of the thickener used in oilfield fracturing at home and abroad are plant gums (such as guar gum and its derivatives), which belongs to the high glycan polymer compounds and is susceptible to microbial erosion and viscosity degradation, as the thickener and the water used for liquid preparation and the large tanks are unavoidable to contain a certain amount of microorganism (saprophytic bacteria and moulds) that can degrade thickener, the microorganism rapid growth in suitable environment, its group to exponential rate of reproduction, if not inhibit its reproductive growth, easy to cause fracturing fluid degradation and damage the tank. Especially in summer, if the large liquid dispensing tank is not cleaned, the newly prepared fracturing fluid will deteriorate within several hours. The use of fungicides can better solve the problem of fracturing fluid mildew rot deterioration. It has been used by CNPC North China, Xinjiang, Great Wall drilling; Sinopec Henan, Jianghan and other oil fields with excellent performance and well received by users.

Usage Method

When using alkaline fungicide, it is added at the later stage of fracturing fluid preparation. When preparing fracturing fluid, thickener, clay stabilizer and drainage agent are added first. After the large displacement cycle starts, the fungicide is added at 0.05%~0.1% dosage, and the large displacement cycle is uniform.

Packaging & Storage

This product is packed in plastic bucket, each bucket net weight capacity is 200kg±0.5kg. Store in a cool, ventilated, and dry place. Valid period is two years, more than two years, it need to to be re-inspected, inspection qualified, can still be used.
